Depending on the type of work you're doing, you may need to call on different tools to get it done. You may require simple hand tools for the basic jobs: hammers, clamps, pliers, screwdrivers, tape measures and such. Bigger tasks require more power, electric tools like drills, routers, angle grinders and reciprocating saws, corded or cordless, depending on what the task calls for. The next step up would be commercial pneumatic tools like impact drills, pneumatic ratchet and wrenches, paint guns, and such. But nothing can replace shop tools and equipment to get repetitive jobs done quickly and safely: band saws, bench grinders, table saws, parts cleaners, wood planers and metal lathes, to name a few. But what are you going to do with those tools once you are done using them? Tool belts are fine for your hand tools, but what about the rest of your tools, your bits, your wrenches, your extension cords, your works lights...? It may be time to look at tool boxes?
